PETALING JAYA: In the face of intense competition and tight budgets, an organisation’s survival depends on a brand of leadership with compelling skills and a powerful presence to drive transformation.
This will be the mantra of American business leaders Bob and Gregg Vanourek, who will mark their first professional visit to Asia with a two-day workshop in Kuala Lumpur next month.
Organiser IMS Asia Sdn Bhd said the father-son team will be sharing tips for a sustainable workforce, which will include pointers from their acclaimed book Triple Crown Leadership.
Bob Vanourek has been CEO for five companies, and is named one of the top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business Behaviour by non-profit organisation Trust Across America.
Gregg is an instructor at the Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship and Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.
Together, they will present five transformational modules for leadership practices, inspired from interviews with leaders of 61 companies in 11 countries as well as the speakers’ own experiences.
The Triple Crown Leadership workshop will be held on June 16 and 17 at the Grand Dorsett Hotel in Subang Jaya. Registration ends on June 12. Organisations may also request to arrange customised private programmes.
Companies registered with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) can make a full claim. For details on the workshop and to register, log on to IMS Asia via www.imsasia.com or e-mail info@imsasia.com.
The event is co-organised by Leaderonomics, a subsidiary of Star Publications (M) Bhd which provides leadership training programmes.
