KUALA LUMPUR: The number of employers registered with Socso jumped in February after the announcement two months ago that action would be taken from March against employers who do not do so.
As many as 4,651 employers hadregistered with Socso as of Feb, an increase of 69% compared with the number of employers who had registered with Socso Feb last year, said Socso CE0 K. Selvarajah after launching the Ops Kesan Perkeso 2011.
He said the operations commenced March 1 and those who did not adhere to the law would be fined.
