Job Description

• Identify potential funders for agricultural related projects
• Prepare project proposals for submission to potential funders
• Prepare reports and presentations on funded projects
• Coordinate and monitor implementation of projects
• Organise workshops, symposiums, meetings and other events
• Other duties or tasks directed by the Chief Executive Officer

Requirements:

• Candidate should hold at least a Degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics/Finance, International Business or related discipline
• Experience in project sourcing, marketing, planning and developing training programs
• Experience in finance, marketing, international business or other related disciplines
• Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience (demonstrated track record in securing project funding is highly preferred)
• Strong background in agriculture especially in fruits (preferable)
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
• Proven ability to network and build rapport with high-level government officials, donor agencies and industry stakeholders
• A previous overseas engagement or experience with an international organisation is an added advantage
• Possess own transport
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
