Job Description
- Identify potential funders for agricultural related projects
- Prepare project proposals for submission to potential funders
- Prepare reports and presentations on funded projects
- Coordinate and monitor implementation of projects
- Organise workshops, symposiums, meetings and other events
- Other duties or tasks directed by the Chief Executive Officer
Requirements:
- Candidate should hold at least a Degree in Agricultural Economics, Economics/Finance, International Business or related discipline
- Experience in project sourcing, marketing, planning and developing training programs
- Experience in finance, marketing, international business or other related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience (demonstrated track record in securing project funding is highly preferred)
- Strong background in agriculture especially in fruits (preferable)
- Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to network and build rapport with high-level government officials, donor agencies and industry stakeholders
- A previous overseas engagement or experience with an international organisation is an added advantage
- Possess own transport
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
